Only a week after the Boulder, Colorado shooting, several shootouts occurred in Virginia Beach.
The New York Times Reported:
“At least 10 people were shot, two of them fatally, during what the police called a “chaotic” night of violence in Virginia Beach on Friday, with two apparently unrelated cases of gunfire within blocks of each other.
A group of people were involved “in some type of conflict that resulted in a physical fight,” the police said. “At some point during the physical altercation, several individuals produced firearms and began shooting at each other, resulting in numerous people being wounded.”
According to the times, eight were hospitalized from this incident alone. The conditions of the victims is unclear.
Not far from the scene, another shooting that was unrelated occurred within earshot and fatally wounded a female victim.
While this occurred an officer had been in the process of shooting a suspect and another officer was hit by a vehicle. Seemingly chaos.
