According to the Seattle Times, Amazon is advocating for in person voting for unionization despite the fact that we are in the middle of a global pandemic still. This is due to flaws in the mail in voting system.
Oddly enough, Jeff Bezos also owns the Washington Post. A news outlet that has vigorously supported mail in voting during the 2020 presidential election, for safety reasons.
Was it a matter of safety, or a matter of preference? It seems to me mail in voting was predominately supported due to the low enthusiasm of Joe Biden, and High enthusiasm of Donald Trump. Biden “supporters” were less likely to inconvenience themselves with going to the polls.
It was a power grab, and now that the precedent is set, will likely be used as a power grab in the future.
