Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a classical rich socialist who preaches that those with vast wealth do not “pay their fair share” when it comes to taxation.
Recently, the congresswoman wore a dress that had “Tax the Rich” scrawled on its back. This has become AOC’s slogan.
AOC does not seem to realize the irony in her own ways. One ticket to the Met Gala costs no less than $30,000, according the the Associated Press and a table no less than $275,000.
AOC voiced her message “tax the rich” while simultaneously signaling to the world just how rich she actually is.
Fox News reported, The wardrobe choice drew a mixed response on social media, with some praising Ocasio-Cortez’s message and others calling it ‘obscenely out of touch and completely hypocritical’
AOC referred to herself as a member of the working class. Though, no member of the working class could afford to be at the Met Gala. The total cost is more than an average American makes in 7 years.
AOC has time and time again called for taxes to be raised on America’s wealthiest individuals. Hypocritically, it would appear that this includes her.
