Joe Biden continues to wear his mask outside at times where he is not in close proximity to others, despite his choice to go maskless during the State of the Union address.
Why? Well, political theater of course. The President doesn’t want to wear his mask for several hours at a time, but will make sure that he’s wearing one any other time a camera points his way – even if it doesn’t make sense to wear a mask at that time.
Monday President Biden was spotted in an empty field, alone sporting a mask. There wasn’t a surface or another human to contaminate in sight. That didn’t stop Joe from wearing his mask.
Biden wasn’t the only Democrat politician who decided to go maskless at the crowded SOTU. She indicated that in the future she will use her own judgement on when to, and when not to mask up.
“I’m not going to be wearing a mask tonight. If I had little children or if I were around little grandchildren, I would because some of them would not be vaccinated,” the Speaker said in an interview.
Biden and Pelosi were just a couple, of the many Democrats who have previously been staunch pro-mask advocates, but flipped.
If masks were truly a health issue, then why would our leaders not continue to wear them even if they are not required? If they were as concerned for their own health as they pretend to be for yours why wouldn’t they wear a mask at all times?
