In a surprising move Breonna Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer has taken a stance against Black Lives Matter.
Palmer says that she’s never had to deal with the Louisville chapter directly, but she believes that they are a fraud.
“I have never personally dealt with BLM Louisville and personally have found them to be fraud, Attica Scott another fraud,” Palmer wrote in a Facebook post.
The Breonna Taylor case is central to the Black Lives Matter movement and organization. It’s a vitality.
It’s unclear how losing the mother of Breonna Taylor will effect public relations regarding the organization as a whole.
“I’ve watched y’all raise money on behalf of Breonna’s family who has never done a damn thing for us nor have we needed it,” she wrote. “I’m so sick of some of y’all.”
Palmer gave thanks to community members and friends of her late daughter but condemned the Louisville BLM chapter.
She claims to be frustrated with those who show up claiming to be there for Breonna’s family, but don’t know who her family is.
She also bashed Rep. Attica Scott D-KY calling her a fraud in the same post. Scott has been pushing for a ban on no knock warrants.
