He noted that when he joined Fox News he was promised that his journalism would not be interfered with. He would be able to cover what he felt was important. Chris stressed that Fox “Kept that promise.”

“After 18 years, I have decided to leave Fox. I want to try something new to go beyond politics, to all the things I’m interested in. I’m ready for a new adventure. And I hope you’ll check it out.” Wallace said.

CNN announced in a press release that Wallace will be coming on board as an anchor for their network. It’s unclear if Fox News was aware of the apparent team change.

This will be a complete changeup for Wallace as CNN is the polar opposite of Fox News. The two mainstream networks that are likely furthest from each-other in bias and style.

Twitter users did not take kindly to Wallace’s apparent betrayal. Tweets bashing Wallace for his ‘incredible bias’ during the 2016 and 2020 presidential debates filled the website.
