Florida governor Ron DeSantis has made it clear: he’s done with lockdowns. Covid restrictions are a thing if the past in the sunshine state as they move into a future of normalcy.
The New York Post reported “Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday ordered all COVID-19 emergency mandates issued by local governments to be immediately lifted.”
DeSantis asserted that facts and evidence pointed him in this direction. He explained that if you still believe that the government needs to hold your hand, and shield you from COVID, that what you’re really saying is “you don’t believe in the vaccines”
The governor has also banned businesses from requiring “vaccine passports” for service. They may however still mandate masks on their property as they see fit.
