North Korea Tests Short Range Missiles And Has Enough To Waste

Reports indicate that the elusive North Korea has launched two short-range ballistic missiles off its east coast and into the Sea of Japan. These alleged launches would be the fourth and fifth this month.

Fox News reported, North Korea had conducted a pair of flight tests of a purported hypersonic missile on Jan. 5 and Jan. 11 and also test-fired ballistic missiles from a train Friday in an apparent reprisal over fresh sanctions imposed by the Biden administration last week for its continuing test launches.

According to Mason Richey, of Hankuk University in Seoul, repeated launches indicate that the North has enough missiles to “feel comfortable” wasting some while testing their capabilities.

According to TIME, NK supreme leader, Kim Jong Un vowed that he would boost military capability even further without disclosing any new policies toward the United States or South Korea. This became evident during a high-profile party conference last week.

U.S. Indo-Pacific command report that the missiles do not pose any serious threat to America or its allies. Japan and South Korea both detected the launch and attempted to analyze information regarding it.

“We find it truly regrettable that North Korea has continued to fire missiles from last year,” said the Prime Minister of Japan.

The Biden Administration has sent a clear message: they’re willing to resume negotiations regarding nuclear weapons with the North at any time. So far,  the dictatorship has taken no interest in diplomacy with the current United States President.
