On July 27th, Kim Jong Un, the Supreme leader of North Korea said that he is prepared to use Nuclear weapons in ‘any’ conflict against the United States according to reports.
“Our armed forces are now fully prepared to cope with any sort of crisis, and our state’s nuclear war deterrent is also fully ready to demonstrate its absolute power accurately and promptly true to its mission,” the dictator said during his speech.
Tensions between the North and South Korean states have ramped up and the Kim blames ‘provocative policies’ from the west. The United States has also resumed military operations in South Korea which was temporarily paused during the pandemic.
Kim Jong Un has gone so far as to block western influences that he banned mullets and skinny jeans. Mullets fell into the “non-socialist haircut” category and were subsequently outlawed. In fact, only 15 haircuts were approved by the tyrant. These are the only styles allowed to be donned by citizens.
“Such a dangerous attempt will be immediately punished by our powerful strength and the Yoon Suk Yeol government and his military will be annihilated,” Kim said.
South Korea has become one of the United States’ strongest ally’s as the country has modernized and maintained a strong U.S. military presence with the Northern threat on its border.
