Democrats once again prove how uncaring they are towards the narratives preached by their own party.
The New York Post reported, Former President Barack Obama is creating a “nightmare” by trying to get nearly 700 people to his 60th birthday bash in Martha’s Vineyard, a source told The Post Monday — as news of the lavish party drew fire amid a national surge of the COVID Delta variant and new restrictions.
George Clooney, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey are among the 475 guests expected to attend alongside about 200 hired hands.
It seems to be that politicians (specifically those espousing rhetoric that promotes lockdowns) and celebrities are immune to coronavirus related guidance and lockdowns.
Back in August of 2020 celebrities traveling from COVID-19 hotspots were granted immunity from a mandatory 14 day quarantine in New York City in order to attend the VMA’s
“Democrats are imposing unscientific mask mandates while contemplating more lockdowns. Meanwhile, President Obama is hosting over 500 elites at his Marthas Vineyard mansion. If you or I did that it would be called a super-spreader event by the Democrats,” claimed New York Rep. Elise Stefanik
Monday White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked if Obama was “setting the wrong example about how serious COVID-19 is by hosting a big birthday party with hundreds of people,” Psaki responded by stating that the venue is within a county that the CDC classifies as having moderate coronavirus transmission in the former Presidents defense.
At this time it’s unclear how sanitation will be handled at the party, or if Obama will require masks at his bash.
