Rittenhouse Breaks Down, Judge Scolds Prosecutor During Trial

In a shocking turn of events Kyle Rittenhouse took the witness stand Wednesday, opening himself up to cross examination from the prosecution.

Kyle started out answering questions as any normal witness would, but just as the topic of the actual shooting itself approached Rittenhouse broke down.

The defendant began sobbing, and appeared to hyperventilate as he thought of the shooting. Its possible, and even likely that Rittenhouse has developed a form of post traumatic stress disorder. As of now, there is no official diagnosis that the public is aware of.

After his breakdown, Judge Bruce Schroeder queued a brief recess. When they returned, Rittenhouse was put together and continued answering questions.

Rittenhouse was grilled on having not given prior statements regarding the actual shooting itself.

“This is the first time we are hearing it from you” Binger said as he turned up the pressure on Kyle.

Judge Schroeder interrupted and informed Binger that he was unable to interrogate Rittenhouse about his use of 5th amendment rights.

The judge told Binger that he was either about to step over the line, or already had.

“This is a grave constitutional violation for you to talk about the defendants silence.” Schroeder said.

Binger also attempted to use evidence from separate events that were unrelated to the case at hand, and not approved by the court.

The evidence included a video from weeks prior of Kyle recording an armed robbery, and another included a photo of Rittenhouse at a bar wearing a “Free as F—K” tee shirt”

Schroeder had previously ruled that these pieces of evidence could not be shown, as there was no relevance, and no door had been opened by the defense.

Binger went ahead and attempted to use the photo and video anyway.

At some points, while the Jury had been instructed to leave the room, Schroeder actually had to raise his voice to Binger.

Schroeder reminded Binger that he is an experienced attorney, he knows the rules and is willingly breaking them as he submits inadmissible evidence.

Johnson, in one objection accused Binger of attempting to cause a mistrial.
