In an open letter, SpaceX employees complained about Elon Musk. Because of these complaints, their jobs were short-lived.

The New York Times reported that employees used the letter to criticize Musk, who t was then made public on Wednesday. The letter called Musk’s behavior “a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment.”

It went on to ask company leadership to publicly condemn Elon’s “harmful Twitter behavior,” Reports now indicate that employees responsible for the letter no longer work for SpaceX

SpaceX President, Gwynn Shotwell said, “The letter, solicitations and general process made employees feel uncomfortable, intimidated and bullied, and/or angry because the letter pressured them to sign onto something that did not reflect their views, we have too much critical work to accomplish and no need for this kind of overreaching activism.”

“Blanketing thousands of people across the company with repeated unsolicited emails and asking them to sign letters and fill out unsponsored surveys during the work day is not acceptable,”  Shotwell explained.

Thus far no action has been taken by the former employees. Aerospace is a very high-end line of work, those who do not support Musk and his views are always able to simply stop working for him.
