UN Official Warns Of Possible Global Hunger Crisis

One United Nations official says that Russia’s blockade on Ukrainian ports will trigger a global food crisis. The official went as far as to call the blockade a “declaration of war”.

The Daily Caller reported, The planet was facing a global food crisis before Russia invaded Ukraine, which is colloquially known as the “breadbasket of Europe” as it feeds 400 million people, according to Bloomberg. Along with mass migration from the ongoing war, UN’s World Food Programme official David Beasley is concerned that Russia’s invasion has compounded the crisis facing the human race, Bloomberg continued.

Prior to the invasion of Ukraine, the world was already grappling with a severe supply chain issue that came about as the result of a global pandemic mishandled by politicians.

The official said that 49 million people across 43 countries were on the edge, approaching famine.

Apparently, Beasley also called on soon-to-be Twitter owner Elon Musk to step in and help solve world hunger.

The issue is, that no man alive, no matter how rich is wealthy enough to solve world hunger. The issue could be temporarily motivated with the assistance of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Even with this massive amount of money, world hunger would persist. Around the globe, billions of individuals are starving. In every the budget goes dry, they will starve once more.
