According to Hindustan Times, “Russian politician Vyacheslav Volodin claimed Zelensky fled to Poland as he was unreachable by Ukraine’s parliament members”.

“It was also rumoured that he had left Ukraine on March 2, before the parliament held a secret meet amid the escalating attack of the Russian troops,” the Times reported.

Zelensky posted a video on his Instagram account Friday, saying he is still in Kyiv and has not left.

“Every two days information comes out that I have fled somewhere — fled from Ukraine, from Kyiv, from my office,” he said.

Some sources previously claimed that Zelensky had actually accepted the U.S. offer of evacuation.
